Ilex House Bed & Breakfast offers one double room with ensuite bath, shower and wc. The room rate is £30.00 for single occupancy and £50 for double occupancy – both rates inclusive of breakfast(s). We accept major credit cards.
Ilex House is in a peaceful, rural location just inside the Dartmoor National Park but within easy reach of the A38 and M5. Ideally placed for exploring Dartmoor or the beautiful South Devon countryside and coast; yet the centres of Exeter, Plymouth and Torbay can be reached in around half an hour. We have plenty of room for parking right outside the front door.
The room comes complete with TV, DVD, CD , Wi-Fi, mini fridge and hairdryer.
The nearby historic town of Ashburton offers a varied choice of eating places along with a good selection of shops. Alternatively there are many rural pubs serving good food both on Dartmoor and in the surrounding South Devon countryside. A nearby favorite with many of our guests is the Rugglestone Inn – www.rugglestoneinn.co.uk .
We have a large garden with fantastic views and a terrace where you can sit for breakfast, mid morning coffee and so on.
Delicious breakfasts, freshly cooked to order, are available – both full and light. Dinner can be provided by arrangement and with sufficient notice.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome: We have our own friendly Labrador here. Your dog(s) can be exercised in our 3 acre garden/field or there are plenty of longer walks close by.
